P47D27 350th FS 353rd FG D-Day twin pack
426455 Flown by 1st Lt Kenneth Chetwood, known as 'Choo Choo' for his habit of finding and Strafing enemy trains.
This was the last of Chetwoods 5 P47's
426634 Flown by nine kill ace Lt Col Kenneth Gallup, he most likely scored in this aircraft.
He was made Commander of the 350th FS after the death of Major Dewey Newhart on June 12th.
