How do you save it as .ntrk before playing a mission? I dont get it.

Just set a key up in your controls. I use a button on my joystick to save the .ntrk at whatever point I choose. As to the old .trks not playing, if you have some that are important to you just do another install to the version the .trk is from and during playback save it as an .ntrk.
