redko Wrote:What do you mean? the map loads without any problem with my moded static.ini, and testers didn't report any kind of problem with the map. i only get this message when loading it with you compain Tokyo Pny including Kyushu map starting with mission 8 if i remember well, not a single problem with Iwo Jima in the same campain, as well as for Hell in the Pacific i liked so much.Redko - it shouldn't matter if the objects I have added are damaged. You will only be unable to load the mission if you remove objects from the static.ini of the original map. This will apply to anybody's missions where they have added damage to the original static.ini - not just mine.
you mean a damaged bildings? would be caused by interferences between "my" bildings and your ?? :???:
ohhhh....shit i think i'm starting to understand : i deleted some "bildings" from the stock static as for exemple tree or houses. is it possible that on your missions, these objects are made to be a part of the mission and have to be destroyed for exemple, and as i cancelled them, this make this message "string out of range" appear ???
i'm afraid it's that..........
- that's why i need a template for your missions upon Kyushu to know what i must keep and what not
- or it will need some modifications in your compains to reintegrate these objects into the map in the campain itself
taking this apart the map runs like a charm....
PS: i would be very very disapointed to be unable to play your missions on my map. hope the map will inspire you to create new ones
If you keep the original static.ini, you can add what objects you like and still play old missions. However, if you remove objects from the original static.ini there is a danger that old missions will not load.
