Also, the version of SoW that was built on Il-2 had moving weather fronts; all in DX9. trust me, I'm a SoW nerd

I'm still using XP, following my principle of buying M$ OS'es after SP1... Since the "ME reloaded debacle", I'd have to wait for Win7 SP1. :-?

I sincerely hope you're right and I can at least experience the physics of the A/C and the effects,
before I have to spend at least 1000 €urons on a new rig and OS, to let me enjoy the game in full bloom...
