Yesterday I tried to fly a nice WW1-ish mission against one of my friends and found out that, unlike using the UI 1.1 back then, he couldn't see me with
HSFX History Mod
several AAA effects mods (including the Uranium Effects, lowFPSClouds, EngineFire etc)
Tiger33's Ultimate Soundmod V.2
BombbaydoorsPlus 2.5.3
activated.
Since NONE of the latter affect aircraft behaviour or visibility AND HSFX definitely changes the gunsight of the J8A, I wonder if this is considered a "legal" mod in terms of "modifying stock aircraft". All mods on AAA have the part "This does not affect online play" in their description and I don't quite like the idea of having to go through this tedious minute-long mod activation/deactivation process every time.
