You're forgetting the most famous carrier of the war....
CV & CV(N) 6 USS Enterprise. (Before everyone freaks out, The 'N' stood for night ops, not Nuclear).
It carried the CV designation until it's refit in 1942-1943 when landing lights were added to it's deck and radar equipped fighter added to her inventory. It was the first carrier certified for night operations.
