Those are very nice looking Algerian skins, however they did not participate in the Algerian war. Algerian gained its independance in 1962, which is when they purchased their first Migs from Russia. The Algerian war was mainly guerilla fighting, much like what is happening now in Afghanistan : small groups of fast moving locals against the French army, with paratroopers carrying out raids in FLN-controlled areas, but no air to air fighting. The only air assets in the area were the French Air Force and Navy, using a variety of aicraft ranging from antiquated T-6s and Corsairs to more modern DH-1 Vampires, T-28 Trojans and anything they could attach a tank of napalm to. They would carry out surveillance and close air support mission essentially.
The planes represented here are more likely to be from the Mig-17s Algeria sent to assist the other Arab countries in Egypt during the Six Days War against Israel.
Great skins nonetheless, North African countries are often overlooked by skinners, and it's always a pleasure to see them getting some light once in a while.
Cheers
