Since I'm predominantly offline I'm not using anything like UP or HSFX - I've got a heavily modded version with picked and chosen mods.

Look in your "users" file in the main game section. "Doe" is where the settings are hiding. If you want to create a new game,just copy/paste your old settings onto your new game.

I take this one step further and copy my current Control file into the file marked "Default" so if I accidentally hit the Default button at the bottom of the Control screen (I've been known to do that!) I at least only lose maybe one or two key assigments - something like swapping the buttons on my joystick for Weapon 1 and Weapon 2.
