You need to set up Fraps for the sound type you need or want,to get sound recording
adjust your settings, read the manual or find answers at the Fraps site on how to set it up properly.
Your question is rather confusing to me,Fraps will only record what you actually see on your screen at the time you are recording with it!
If you are in F1 view then that is what you are recording,if you switched then to a static camera...
you would be recording what you see on your screen while looking through the static camera
It does not record from static camera's while you are in F1,it only records what is seen on your screen at the time it is recording.
You could make two recordings ,one while in F1 and one from the static camera
from there use video editing software to edit the two clips together for whatever results you want to try and obtain.
The arial bases you mention ,you just need to go into the FMB and build whatever you want with all the objects and people figures ete
There is a few templates or missions (not mods)around that you could use or add to to make what you want.
All in all though, everything can be built by hand in the FMB that you want for crowds, vehicles ete ete ete
one last thing with Fraps, you will find that the .avi files it creates are really... really..... HUGE !
if you are not careful ...you can record literally gigs upon gigs of video
Easy
