so you mean update to 4.09 and uninstall? and will i be able to have il-2 game exe so one is a mod and the other is normal?

What do you have now?

If you want 4.09m, you need an unmodded install of the game patched to 4.08m, then patched 4.09m
After that, if you want mods, you'll need to get a Mod Pack, like HSFX.
