Here are a few shots showing recent activity on this project.

I have finally made a start on populating Saigon, here you see KevinP's road
plates being used to map out the city plan. Thanks to Akvadis I have sufficient
information to position the most important buildings.



Here is a Slovak church standing in for Notre Dame Cathedral.



Tree lined avenues. Some of these appear very wide in Google images so it may be
I need to add another road each side, though that may be overkill.



Buildings and communal areas.



The water course around both Saigon and Bien Hoa have been altered to more reflect what
you would see on a map.



Due to the fact the rivers are navigable and thus oversize the scale is obviously out so
things don't look quite as tight and neat as they would if the rivers were done in the
normal way.







The changes to the rivers course necessitated re-building the airfields at Saigon and
Bien Hoa so that has slowed things up a bit. :roll:
