For the camera controls,

The keys to use are for these slots in controls:

F8 = Chase View
F9 = Toggle Snap/Pan View

So, if you changed your controls so that you hit another key for Chase View (let us say changed to F5 so it will be like Red Baron 3D), that is the key (F5 in my example) you now need to hit to change the views. Then whatever key you have assigned to Toggle Snap/Pan View is the key to press instead of F9

So check your key settings under control and see what keys are listed for those slots.

Now, the Toggle Snap/Pan View works for all camera positions, but the Chase View only works for the plane you are flying, with one exception. In an online game, if you record a track, but then exit to the ready room (pick sides and planes) just looking at the map, but still recording your track, Now when you play back the track, the camera change from the Chase View is now available for all planes flying.
