Good day, everyone
Remember that Oleg's team releases all images reduced in graphics setting quality. Not just Anti-aliasing: A bunch of graphics settings are reduced.
The highest settings would show grass and textures in crisp clear quality, as well as everything else. I have seen picture perfect images of 3D graphics that looked exactly as if real.
For example, a 3D created sports car image that I saw recently looked exactly like a real one. The glass, shiny paint and shiny rubber wheels looked absolutely real. Next to them was the image with reduced graphics settings that looked much like the images here from Storm of War. These images are reduced in graphics quality for several reasons. Can you think of two or three good reasons?
We have never seen Storm of War images at the highest graphics settings that will be possible with future computer hardware. When we do, jaws will crash through the floor.
Trust me, once Storm of War is presented with very high graphics settings, then the superiority over IL-2 will obviously be more than one graphics generation advanced.
Hardware and graphics drivers are now being developed which will run Storm of War with current graphics card wattages and the new, much better graphics engine quality. In other words, there will be greater efficiency in processing Storm of War, especially with DirectX 11.
