Thanks for that Mark, I owe you a great deal for the work you've done to lift this map to what it is today, your textures and encouragement kept it alive. There were times when I was painstakingly moving along the river banks flattening things that I nearly gave up. Your texture work spurred me on. It is now starting to become more enjoyable rather than a chore, still very frustrating though. I hope the trees don't dissapoint. I'd like your thoughts on them please if you don't mind. They are primarily intended for use around the airfields to help give a sense of a real place when you are at low level, the flat textures just don't do that so hopefully this helps the immersion. I could do with darker trees to help the effect but will just have to make do with what we have in the sim. The textures without the tree map will be used elswhere.
The railway has finally come to Saigon, sorry too late for yesterdays update.
I had to shift things slightly to one side to allow the train into the yards.
It stops here, I'm not going to extend the usable track to the docks, KevinP's tracks for that..
Here on the landmass between Bien Hoa and Saigon, shame the bridges can't be used.
Appologies for not sending you a PM to let you know it was uploaded, it was quite late when
I finally got it all assembled and uploaded, hope it works ok.
Wishing you all the very best, Pete.
