I think its been worked out that a number of Allied aces if they had flown the same number of missions as Hartmann and scored at the rate they did, they would have come out with the same score or better.

I dont see why people find it so hard to believe. Im sure every ace no matter what side they flew for could come under question about how accurate their score is, but after all does it really matter that much?
