To try to answer your questions.
1. No, the AI taxi question is still left in limbo at this time. I'm sure some enterprising programmer is beating him/herself up trying to figure it out, though.
2. If you created a MODS folder in your root directory, you are 90% done on using UI content in HSFX. in reality, HSFX simply compressed all the UI content and placed it in SFS file format, the same way the original game is set up. You add content the same way you did in UI.
3. In order to run spererate items in JSGME, you have to change the file structure. My suggestion there would be to pay close attention to the file structure of the items already listed in the JSGME folder and adjust accordingly.
Above all else, backup any files you may need to replace in case something goes wrong and TEST, TEST, TEST. Always test each mod you add before going too far.
