Getting all the wonderful eye candy will require DirectX 11.

Possibly, but apart from the last couple of updates, all the screenshots we have seen have been DX 9.

Still, you may be right, after all the reflective glass as seen in the Bf109 cockpit only turned up in the most recent shots.
