The Horten XVIII is the bomber version of the horten 229 i just thought it could be cool,

It is cool

But sadly that design never made it off the napkin it was scribbled on

Let alone a blue print

Let alone a prototype

Let alone production

In short a dream that remained a dream

If you like flying wings that could carry a payload across the pond

Onto limited production as the jet version YB-49

And some 60 years later it's design was the foundation for the Northrop B2 bomber design

The YB-35, YB-49, and B2 all have the same wingspan of 172 ft (52.2 m)

i forgot but if Germany did make the Atomic bomb would the Horten XVIII be able to carry it?

That and Germany was father from making the bomb than this wing
