Basically it is possible, but this would require to change a base game class file, which again is prone to cause incompatibilities now and then. I wouldn't recommend to touch such files just for cosmetically reasons.

It's such a good idea, though. I would like to see the Hud Log left on, but moved down to lower left corner, maybe just above the speedbar, so it is not so obtrusive.
