Did you guys discuss Redko's desert map textures. He is offering them as Open Source. I am sure that you have been following his topic, right?

Those will be good for certain areas but the map area has very diverse and some unique geography. Unfortunately there are not enough textures allowed to do it properly some some corners will have to be cut.
