The last picture from fooblog is not in the official update, so I don't know how they got it or if it is even from SOW.

Actually, it is from the 2010-9-3 SoW thread. People were complaining that the Hurricane pilot was too small, or too low in the cockpit. This was Luthier's response:

I think it's now been conclusively demonstrated that seats were adjustable, how high the pilot is probably depends on whether he is more concerned about seeing over the nose, or getting shot at - they seem to have lowered the seat in combat.
