All for an aircraft that never would have made it off the drawing board. The design doesn't allow for any throttle control, since the engines couldn't be connected to any kind of control mechanism and still allow the wing to rotate freely.

I think the throttle control problem could be got around easily enough. There are several mechanisms that could do this. Take a look at a helicopter swashplate for example, it solves a much more complex problem without too much difficulty: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swashplate_...icopter%29

I can't see much point in making a mod of this though. I've never seen any logic in such designs, even if they could be made to work.
