Ok, things got clear now.
But somehow that page is confusing; I have read it several times, and there may be misunderstandings, like in my case. Maybe not for english players, but people from other countries may have problems.
I was sure the 3 parts I downloaded were the whole thing, updated. Wrong. That was the 201 update, but BEFORE that I should have downloaded the huge 4gb torrent. Wich I did, (after :mrgreen: )
I brutally installed UP 2.0 AFTER installing the 2.01 patch, thinking "who cares, I still can nuclearize everything and restart from scratch". But it worked. UP 2.0 ran perfect, then I re-updated it to 2.01
Tons of maps, tons of new birds, cool tracers... the only thing I don't like too much are sounds: to me the AAA soundmod is very hard to beat, state of the art
Now I have this Tiger33Mod for sounds, I have a long readme to read then I'll give it a try. And then I would like to install the Plutonium suite and the fire&smoke by socorrista, after that I think my Sturmo should look and work the way I mean
Thank you all. I also have noticed the UP at this point also contains the HSFX, is that correct??
P.S. 1 ) great value, most of the new aircraft mods are alrady included in UP (mig17, various F86, etc) that is great
P.S. 2) Do you think the opening screen of UP is a genuine ingame frame, or is it retouched? I have very realistic graphics, but the clouds and the landscape in that screen are terrific...
