..besides lack of an officially by all parties signed peace treaty, all former involved countries had come to the consensus that actual peaceful boundaries and the status quo of military and economical relationships between all former adversaries had equalled to a state of peace.
In all but strictly formal terms the 8th of mai 1945 was regarded as the end of WWII in Europe anyway.
6 years of that hell was long enough.
I think roughly the same counted for the War in the Pacific, and almost 4 years of that hell was sure enough as well.
I'm glad today we can all fly this sim knowing that we're all at peace and that all of us share democratic constitutions.
