Hey everyone,

I just got the HSFX on my computer not to long ago and I like to fly Navy maps a lot.

What is going on now when you start your engine and you get the messages about "engine under heat" and then it seems if you don't take off right away your engine is killed and is unrecoverable. This may happen with land based take offs, but I haven't done any yet. The only way to take off is to put it in auto pilot or to take off first and right away, which is impossible if you are not the #1 A/C in the group.

I've tried everything to see what is done to the engine in Autopilot mode to prevent this but I don't see any special switch turned on.

And last night I just learned of planes catapulting off the deck. I was unable to initiate this myself since when I start my engine it gives me the underheat message and dies.

So how do you prevent your engine from being destroyed on startup, and how do I get my A/C on the catapult?

Also, does the catapult solve heavy load issues? Like an F4U loaded with 4000lbs of ordinance and 100% fuel, or the F9F carrier take off ability?
