Running win 7 64 bit ultimate and have no problems what so ever running multipel installs of il2 1946.
this as 409.
ultrapack 2.01
and fusionpack.
turn of the securetysettings in win7, then install as admin and make it compitable with win xp sp2.
on homeversion of win7 it is more a PITA but also on my brand new laptop it wasnt really any problem making it working.
Also a good idea is to have it on its own partition.
I suspect alot of folks here only have c drive as the computers often come with only c partition.
Online are free partition programs. dl and make your own this as its better for windows too to have smaller patitions to work on.
You dont need a 500 gb c drive. make it at least down to 3-4 partitions instead. like i have. c/win7. then D/games, E/programs, F/ backup.
This makes windows faster as it has no need to search the entire 500 gb to find stuff.
if you have il2 on a other hardrive completly installed with ex xp then just copy the il2 folder over to a memorystick and paste it into win 7 and then make new shortcuts to desktopp.
