i use downed us pilot 1 as contact mines ,the runway thing blocks and sinks all ships in taskforce ,the (pilot) mine will let some ships through and sink others depending on density of mine field ,thing is you need to set ship to sleep as it travels through minefield otherwise the ships will blow pilots out of the water,

tried using c47 to drop cargo as mines but they sink . if some one could make floatable cargo or make a floatable bomb that could be dropped , 6 to 8 aircraft could make a nice minefield,
