I am having the following problem on a map I am working on that will be ready for release once I figure out a few issues. Here is my problem, if anyone is an airfield expert any help would be greatly appreciated:
1. The aircraft all land and follow the taxiways to the parking areas highlighted in GREEN with no problems.
2. When the GREEN spots are filled, the aircraft try to use the spots highlighted in RED.
3. When they get to the end of the runway at spot 1 or 2, they shoot off in the direction of the BLUE arrows at 1 or 2 instead of taking the YELLOW taxiways as they should, therefore crashing into the trees.
4. There are no objects blocking either the YELLOW taxiways or the RED parking spots (I have tried moving the exisiting trees away, but that did not solve the problem)
NOTE:
I have been testing these with B-29's.
Also, how long do runways need to be in order for the AI to take off large 4 engine bombers like the B-24 and B-29? One of my other runways is 1946 m (6200+ ft) long and the one in the picture above is 1285 m long (4215 ft). I tested loaded AI B-24's on the 6200 ft runway and they all were not able to get off the ground before going down a slope, then into some tress, then into the ocean. A bit ridiculous if you ask me.
