Try killing the following:

dwm.exe
EgisUpdate.exe
jusched.exe
LWEMon.exe
mwlDaemon.exe
ONENOTEM.exe
PMMUpdate.exe

If you have access to it, you could also try just running 'End it All'.
It was a small utility used to kill background processes.
