P.s. yes i did patch up to 4.10 then 4.11 then the sas d2d patch listed in the install manual in this forum.

According to your P.S., you installed the special patch in the wrong order and did not patch with the 4.101
Installation order:
* 4.07 (Some people start with this DVD version)
* 4.08 (IL-2 1946 4.08m DVD - limited numbers sold, Official 4.08 Patch, or Digital Download 4.08 version... any of these three which describe what you have.) You must have the stock version 4.08 installed and continue in this order as it applies to you...
* 4.08 special patch - not official - use to enable mods only if you have the digital download version of IL-2 1946)
* 4.09
* 4.10
* 4.101
* Mod pack compatible with 4.101 ( In this case: HSFX 5.0 then HSFX 5.01 hotfix )
