Hi Jynxx, well, I ended up re-installing everything "IL2 related" in XP service pack 2 compatability mode.Game started,made it to the menu screen, and then I realized that my X52 pro is not set-up yet 
.It was getting really late, so I told myself that I would get back on it when I get home from work today. So once again, I'll let you know this evening. Thank you.
