When you tried to put this back into the game and it wouldn't work, an error would be generated and written in the log file which you can enable through the config.ini, it generally gives you some clue as to why it isn't working. Eg for a new slot aircraft when it is in-game but wont load the log might say, ERROR: Internal: Cannot find 3do/plane/Me-163b1a/hier.him
Then you know that something isn't loading right or you are missing a file in that folder. If you do get into proper COD modding you should check out some of the tutorials and explanations for IL2-1946 modding at SAS etc, both games are relatively the same with the 3d/file structure etc. :wink:
