All of the things you listed are in IL-2 CoD. :wink: It's just that Volumetric clouds chew up the fps. Recoil I believe was removed because it was overdone, and the community wanted it removed.
And of course you must understand that they don't have a limit of processing power or fps to work with in that movie. Until modding is open, you will not see 'cinematic' quality effects from this sim.
Birds of Prey is a very graphical game and there is alot of processing room to create awesome graphics and effects/visuals, the downside to that is the FM's, tracking, damage modelling etc are all un-realistic. Why? Because it isn't a simulator. It's an arcade shooter. In CoD, the sim has to track 3d points of a very complex damage and physics model for every plane rendered. Then you have ground objects, animations and the general calculations of flight and engine management, it's very resource heavy.
