Are you running in Open GL or Direct X ?
Are any other maps like this, and also have plane are you trying to fly with? As the others have pointed out some of the modded planes do not have cockpits, I would recommend using one of the Stock Planes like the Il-2 or something to see if the smae maps you are testing look like how they are in the pictures 8)
