This isn't in the same league, but back in the days of the 80's micro-computing boom, my father received an unsolicited parcel. For no apparent reason he'd been sent a brand new Sinclair Spectrum. He got in touch with the vendor and reported the unwanted gift, but they told him to keep it. I guess it wasn't worth the price of a return ticket. Then a couple of weeks later another Spectrum arrived from the same vendor. Go figure...
