porto72 Wrote:Someone has installed UI 1.1.1 and is willing to test if the map runs, please contact me! In the meantime I am doing some test why the map won't run on non UI-Installations. I deleted my Il-2 folders, installed Il-2 again and after updating to 4.08 installed the Universal Installer Version 1.1 and then the patch for 1.1.1. Then I was able to install this map again without problems!

PM sent m8, i will give it a test run for you

Wow!............Wonderful map!!!
Great towns and cities populated fully as the Alpine map but much easier because smaller.... great mountains... great airstrips and forts and harbours.....

loaded OK was able to look in FMb... but had to use the 'fix' in Bldconf.ini to get it to save a mission.
Opening the console gave this error.... INTERNAL ERROR: Can't open file '3do/airfield/Asphalt/ParkingCorner/mono.sim
Don't know where that file is????

Should there be a lighthouse near the entrance to Pearl Harbor?
Ships will not move in the harbour ... but I got around that with the same way i did the trains...

Very nice picture indeed fabianfred, but more interesting for my is the fact, that your picture showed what is missing: Tarmac Plates

I am working on a solution and will send it to you.

Saburo, could you please check your installation of this map if you have Tarmac Plates installed? Check the pictures from Ford islands and Hickham. There you should find lines seperating the mainrunway from the taxi strip (with the markings "taxi"). If not, then you are also missing this plates!

Work is going on!

porto, i have all the object mods available, i really dont know what i am missing, i see everything you said at arty range and the pool near diamond head, and the tarmac plates.

maybe it is the ships you said you was making, or the hew roads?

Scene at the Ford Island Naval Air Station's seaplane base soon after the Japanese attack. Several PBY patrol planes are parked on the apron, some near the wrecked hangar at left. The battleship Nevada (BB-36) is beached in the left distance, with smaller ships alongside her bow.

This photo is looking down the channel at Pearl Harbor on December 8,1941. The Nevada (BB-36) is visible at the far right of the photo, aground at Waipio Point being assisted by salvage craft. After first running aground at Hospital Point, to the left, the ship was moved by tugs to her present location to avoid bottle-necking the channel for ship traffic.

Aha! That would explain it.
