First of all, I'm wondering if anyone will even see it online. I think the concern however, is that before long there will be a million different frankenstein aircraft that are just pieced together with no ONE standard. Again, I don't know if it will make a difference if only the person that has the mod can see it. People just don't want things to get out of hand. For instance, taking parts and making them into a F14 lookalike, even though it has a standard IL2 FM. Things like that will kill IL2.

Surely, you'd all have to have the same mod to see it? How can your computer render a 3D shape that isn't in your copy of the game files? Only the user would see it.

I stand to be corrected but, if that's the case, onliners can all relax on this issue. Spread the word... :wink:

I don't know if this has been done before... but a Go-229 winged floatplane with AR-234 fuselage! :evil: You could even use the Me-109Z as a base in order to get the loadout files and make a highbrid FM! :twisted:

Lol Zo.. Some people get so worked up over, yes, a game, you are right mate.
The danger is, when this game of ours becomes so important, it takes over from real life!..
And by looking at some of the posts not only in here, but in other sites as well, its scary how much some people make it sound like its the most important thing in their lives..
We all tend to refer to IL2 as a sim.. But thanks for reminding us its just a game... :mrgreen:

I am a real life, professional pilot. I fly nearly every day for a living. This is not a full blown simulator, we know that, but thats because computers can't handle everything needed to. It is however, considered a simulator more than a game, at least its supposed to be. lol

Because of my profession, thats what gets me aggravated with a lot of the things I see people doing in here with CEM and maneuvers.

How many other combat simulations have fully functional cockpits? How many have any functional instruments whatsoever? How many model torque?

I like you mod work Fly_zo but you clearly have the wrong box... get a few old sims, learn the genre and appreciate what we already have is you can.

MASTER SWITCH, BATTERY, INSTRUMENTS, ... , ALMOST IDLE THROTTLE, STARTER...
I belive you wouldn't play it. You would be doing pre-flight check for 40 minutes of 1 hour in game...
