So all the 3D conversion done already by the community (Spit Mk.I) were made from the .msh files? Were you able to import .msh into Max but not vice-versa?
Nope, all MODS here are made with existing meshes and editing the hier file

What are all those files with no extension? (pardon me if the question is stoopeed but i hsve just a very limited knowledge of 3d modeling issues.) Can these be examined to see how they relate to the original MAX file and the final MSH? I gather that the MSH must contain the same info as MAX (the vertices info in some format) and it can't be that different. I'll look at it with a hex editor and see if i can make some sense of it.
