Hey fly_zo - I lost them again! 
I think all the installs/re-installs etc caused some issue SO I started from scratch.
I followed the MOD install process and installed the Engine Sound Mod version 090 and then the 409_MOD_b1m.exe. I will install the wrapper, AC Installer and AAA plane pack later and then the mods or the Mods folder I saved per your recommendation.
So I checked the sounds and success - I have the mod engine sound for the planes from cockpit mode. However what I noticed is that from the F2/F3 mode the stock sound is there for most of the planes like the A-20s, Corsairs, Hellcats, etc.
The other thing I noticed is that in some of the planes; like the Hurricane, Spitfire, Mustang, 109, 190 have the mod engine sound both from cockpt view, F2 and F3 views. Also all the planes have the mod sound for the MGs and cannons.
So my question is this: is what I describe above correct? that some of the planes have in cockpit engine mod sound and weapons but in the F2 and F3 modes they have the stock engine sound?
If that is the case what version of the Engine Sound Mod is recommended to have the engine mod sound in all views (F1, F2, F3, etc)?
