hey tnx for posting this i have it updated to 4.09b1m and followed ALL of the instructions carefully and it works fine! but one problem is that i don't have a MODS fodler in my 1946 directory :x plz help am i suppoosed to add it? because i installed sound_mod v9.3 and the wrapper and ac installer but i don't have it.

V Octane V, I have no idea why you have no mods folder but am glad it is working for you.

Did you add everything in the guide?
Where are your folders for the mods you added? They have to be somewhere for it to work.

Do you have a Files folder in your 1946 directory?

Sorry for all the questions but I am wondering just how the thing is working with no MODS folder

yeah i did everything in the guide and added everything that was part of part 1, then i installed the 2nd aaa mod pack and i have all the ai planes working, all i did when the mods were installing was install it into the Il2 1946 directory like it said and i double checked for every time i installed.

YES i have a files folder in my 1946 directory and inside is a lot of files and 4 folders.

hoping this helps cus i wanna install some mods :?

You should already have some mods if you got through Part 1, there are 4 new slot planes and some retextured maps as well as all the AI made flyable planes.

If you have these and all is working you should be good to go.

BTW, if a mod does not have a self installer, be really careful to follow the modders directions and check the topics that discuss the mod before installing it so you may avoid potential conflicts.

There is a lot of good stuff around.

ok yeah cus i have all the ai planes flyable (exsept the he-zwilling lol????) and the maps but your saying any mods will work even if i don't have the mods folder? ok ill see what happens, 1st mod i think ill et is the gore mod :lol: :lol: 8)

I found the MODS folder in my directory i guess i wasn't looking hard enough, but it was hiding with my il2 exe instead of where all the folders are supposed to be at the top, but the mods folder was down with the files but i've moved it now and inside are all the folders of the planes that have been added. WONDERFUL!@

I did just as you said and followed it to the letter but when i went to run it for the first time it got to 60% on the load screen then kicked me out, please help

Did you do both parts?

If you followed each step and opened the game after each step you should not get the 60% crash.

When you installed the new slot planes did you update the AC Installer each time?
