Tour 2 of the VMF-213 "hellhawks" Historical Slot Map Campaign has been Released for download to M4T and awaiting aprooval from Administrators.

You will need the UI 1.1 and Shippack 2

A download Link will ne Provided here when the campaign is accepted by the M4T Administrators.

Been waiting for prt 2 for a while.
I was knocked out by Prt 1, and promised myself no fast forwards.
Coming back down the Slot can be pretty tiring after that quick shot of adrenilin :wink:
Just loved the campaign and looking foward to this addition.

beautiful. i really appreciate your work.

i just got both tours downloaded and working, so i haven't played them through yet. though i'm curous to know why the darwin map was nessecary for the first tour? it doesn't look like it would be in the campaign.

This group would go to Australia in between tours, the Darwin Map is used for a filler missions at the end of each Campaign. This is the group landing in a R4D (USMC C-47) with you as the co-pilot.

The point of these missions is to add a buffer in case you would like to add the missions and campaign text file to your Tour 1 so it would play as one campaign. Basically when you would see the Australia mission you would know you were done with tour one, and would know NOT to finish the Australia Mission UNTIL you had combined Tour 2 to Tour 1.

this campaign is fantastic! I'm almost done with tour two, with 11 kills, mostly zeroes with some zero floatplanes and bettys thrown in.

I'm having a problem in the second to last mission. When the game gets to "90% loading humans", I get a warning that says "Mission loading failed: Mesh 3do/humans/Paratroops/Russia/mono.sim not created." When I click ok, the game quits. What am I missing? I installed all of the needed mods, and there haven't been any issues up till now.

I've had also troubles to install Ship Pack 2 and several attempts has failed.
But at one shiny day I saw this thread: http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/...hp?t=13150 and all my problems was gone.
Installed step by step like in this thread mentioned and I was able to play all these fine campaigns which I can't before, cause of lacking Ship Pack 2.

hey. like i said before- great campaign. the only problem though is the sounds of crickets and birds while on the ground. it suits the slot campaign alright, its just that every map in the game- be it in snowy europe or on an aircraft carrier in the middle of nowhere in the ocean, i get "jungle" sounds everywhere. i preceeded to remove the sound files "jap airbase" or whatever it was called from the games directory. now for some reason, it didn't do a thing!!! i still get the crickets!!! how is that even possible?!?

how can i solve this little problem?

Beautiful campaign, I'm in the middle of Tour 1 and I'm very impressed!

But I've one question to this merging thing of Tour 1+2. Yes, I've read the "Hellhawks Info on Filler Mission System". :wink:
I would Tour 1+2 play as one campaign and I've installed both. So need I to fly the 15 and last mission of Tour 1 and would than Tour 2 starts, or must I start Tour 2 seperatly as a new campaign?

I will put up a link here that will let you download what you need to make tour 1 keep going into tour 2, basicly im going to join them for you and make this really easy.

As am I - but with German paras, and only on mission 4 of tour 2 (which looks to be shaping up as every bit as good as the first instalment, absolutely amazing job Dixiecapt!); and I also got it with something like mission 6 of the FEAF campaign...

..two great campaigns, one wierd error, and a puzzled expression! Anyone got any thoughts?
