Instead of quiting and restarting the game, try ALT+ESC (instant back to desktop) and then clicking IL2 in the taskbar.
ALT ESC doesn't help I've tried all methods of clicking and making the IL-2 screen the current screen, the task bar always stayed in view across the bottom of the screen. And if I let the video run I still wouldn't be able to do anything because the mouse wouldn't work in game
What is interesting though is by removing the intro as above it not only prevents the movie from running but also gives me control of the keys and mouse. The task bar no longer stays at the bottom of the screen.
How odd.
