Well,

Firstly on the subject of 4.09 and unified installer maps I personally prefer the map example of Fabian Fred's Thailand map.
He had a folder of a great deal of interesting new objects and an add on for the static.ini

Simple to do yes.

Now secondly

This ownership thing some times gets up my nose and this non support and support thing some times gets up my nose.

If a person who enjoys making maps and taking a great deal of time do create a historically correct map. This person does it for the pure enjoyment and love of making maps. Making maps is a genuinely exciting and interesting hobby pass time. For me there is always something new to learn.
What's the point of making these maps if you can not share them with the entire AAA comminuty.

Ok yes you have to have an authors prefix at the front of the maps name but to me personally that is not a big deal.

I am involved with three projects which will eventually be coming out towards the later half of this year if Fly_zo accepts these projects for the community.
1 Vanuatu 1943 (Semi Populated 50 pixels scale )
2 Shang Hai and Nanking China (heavily populated) 75 pixels scale
3 A project that I will not announce just yet but it will be in 1:1 (heavily populated)

People will not have to ask me for permission to alter them in anyway I'm all for any kind of improvments be other like minded people.

With people being in support of particular maps or in non support of particalar maps. This gets up my nose a tad to0.

I say it was a World War so why can't we produce maps of the entire globe using the resources that we have available and not worrying about if it was an area where there was just a one day battle or a two or three year campaign.

Just my Thoughts.

I am not harping at anyone.

I really enjoy the map making process and it does gradually become an obsessive hobby/pass time.

Cheers Kirby
