miker8, ....Looking forward for the The Bunker Hill Skin. My father was on her in WWII. He was 75 feet away from the bomb blast that tore a hole in the middle of the flight deck on May 11, 1945. He was thrown 15 feet through the air and narrowly missed by pieces of the flight deck. He was about the only guy who stood up after the blast. About 30 or 40 guys around him were seriously injured or killed. His Battle Station was in the forward 5" turret on the flight deck, he was 15 or twenty feet from it when the Kamikaze dropped the bomb and followed it in.
A question about the skin, when it's downloaded will it fill the Intrepids slot but be a picture of the Bunker Hill?

many thx for the post everybody, it wil encourage me to do more shipskins for the IL2 community in the future, ...until i know how to give each ship a seperate slot this USS Bunker Hill skin wil replace the USS Intrepid skin so yes it fills the Intrepids slot but be a picture of the Bunker Hill, sry m8's
rustydawg , thx for sharing the story of your father and afther reading your post I can only say that I'm verry glad your father was amongst the ones that survived that tragic day , i thank God and honor those including your father who helped and participate in the ending of ww2 because of their suffering and efforts .... . A lot of them gave their lives so we and my family could live in freedom , to me thats a priceless gift and we should not take that for granted....

HH_Cipher, m8 did you use the new link which wil download the USS Bunker Hill skin aswell ? cose that new download includes the HMS Illustrious also...
for your convenience use this downloadlink, it says USS Bunker Hill but it includes the HMS Illustrious;
