That's a good point. Slow also has so many projects going that a lot of them will probably come out at once.

Bland, how so? You can escort bombers over Germany and Japan in the one of the P-51D sub-variants or dive bomb Korean guerillas in an F-51D-30NA. You can take down trains, bombers, fighters, or tanks in any of the new and improved 109's... Then, why not go on a raid in your glass-nosed B-25J in the Mediterranean or take out one of the gunships for a bit of hunting in the Pacific. Or, perhaps you'd like to take out some of the early P-38's in Africa, Europe, the Pacific, or the Med... UI 1.2 has enough to keep everyone busy for a while... Besides, there are some surprises not on the main list... Oh yeah, I am waiting for Slow's Bf 109 Rammjagger that will be in UI 1.3. That will be alot of fun...

Deac-I personally am not a mustang fan... the 109 is okay, but i'm good with the ones that came with the game. The b-25s are boring as... wait? a gunship? I'M IN

Yes I hoped (I know they did never speak about these planes for 1.2.) silently that the Mig-15 and F-86 could be in the package BUT The B-25 Straffers, Ranvers CC Mosquito and all the P-51 and P-38 are real christmas gifts.
One more really positive thing are the reworked FMs for the Carrier based Torpedo-Bomber ! I like to play them online but hated their sturdy flight-behavior.
An other hope of me is that the AAA_Weapons-Mod will upgrade the effect of the .50 MG in all Planes. I think in reallity they did hitting harder (if I see the guncam videos of the pacific war)

I've seen several people talking about a mig... is it by chance the frankenplane version that i have downloaded, or is there a new one in the works?

Peter D has made a Mig 15 and a F-86A-5NA from scratch that are supposed to be included in UI 1.3... Sorry to hear that you're not a huge P-51 or Bf 109 fan... Shame... At least the Strafers will give you something to do, or something to oblitherate stuff with...

Yeah... unfortunantly I can't try the strafers out for a while due to a fractured wrist (it had to be my right one). The things that I was looking foreward to were things that were really unique aircraft comperable to the b-29 silverplate.

You gotta learn to appreciate mate, it's not like you are paying for ui 1.2..... it is offered to you for free and you should be glad that there is a group of hard working people making such an installer so you don't have to hand install all the mods out there. You appreciate them more when your game goes wild and you have to re-install the whole thing.

Looks great from the way it is right now, but with only one downer, no Italian career choice with the Italian pack ( includes radio traffic in Italian, and the medals on the career thing ) but also some Torpedo-Bombing Campaigns would've been nice to have. It still looks good right now though.

An Italian career would bee pretty good. akdavis-i'm just trying to see if anybody else shared my views on the new UI. It's just to make it easier for me to get info at a glance.

Too bad they can't add that awesome ai mod that worked so well with 4.09b.
I know its more for sounds and planes but everyone should experience the ai mod- and some ppl dont
add anything extra but the unified installer.
