No I don't. But if this person has followed what has been going on, he/she would know were I am coming from. Then maybe he/she would understand. I for one am tired of "turning the other cheek" and then get hit with a 2x4 .

I don't understand this paranoia about having the most current version of IL-2 modified. At the present time, discounting the 4.09 beta, the most current version is available for both communities to enjoy. What is the problem with continuing on with this situation? Those that wish to insure that only unmodified games join their servers can do so. For those of us who wish to fly on servers that allow the modified version, they are available as well. The beauty of this is that those with unmodified games can join us as well. Maybe they are dedicated fighter jocks, and wish to try their hand at shooting down human flown B-17s or -24s. By not cracking 4.09, you really do split the community, which I think is a bad thing.

Not all of Air Group 51 has chosen to modify their game. That is their choice, and more power to them. But with 4.08, it has had absolutely no impact on our operations. We can all fly together. They can fly on our mod friendly server - PacCon - and we all can fly on mod unfriendly servers. If 4.09 does not get modified by the choice of this group, that would be a huge bummer :x

I say, go for it, mod 4.09. It's going to get modded sooner or later so why not sooner rather than later :lol:. Maybe it's just me but I dont think I could stand flying over the new maps with the standered bf-109 sounds *puke*

Also, now that 4.08 is obsolete it opens it up for far more possibility's

I think we can all understand where you are coming from, but that does not mean it's the right attitude to have and it doesn't mean we all agree. I like the idea of modding 4.08 or the 09 beta and leave final 09 alone. It's the only way to have any peace until BoB comes out.

what im wondering is just how many cases of people cheating have been seen - because we run AAA server & have only 1 definiate case of someone cheating

besides we would like all our great mods to be 4.09 compatible
