Remove the bombrack for the Fw190s?

With the introduction of the BMW 801 D radial enginge the FW 190 switched from B4 to C3. So the whole gasoline was C3.

Well the system in summer 1943 was a rised emergency power in the first gear up to 1000 meters.

the loading pressure in the normal emergency power was 1.42 ata. the ingeneers rised the loading pressure up to 1.65 ata but they had to boost more gasoline into the cylinders because the mixture whould get too lean (mixture depletion) and this whould cause a massive overheating and it whould kill the engine finaly.

In the part 7 of the handbook FW 190A-5/A-6 (August 1943) you can read this on page 13. It is just an additive injection. So the main gasoline type is C3 because it is written that the gasoline for the additive injection is coming from the main tanks.

S!

Good news Waggel! Great to see the FW190A looked into. The FW190A-3 is really great and can not wait until others are checked too. For some reason FW190A-8 is one of my favorites, but now it is pretty useless in IL-2. In AcesHigh 2 you can actually fight in it..But future looks brighter now Big Grin

I've read quite a bit of information about the evolution of manifold pressure on the BMW 801 for the Antons and IIRC, the A5 was the first to be able to use the 1.65 ATA pressure and only for low altitude (
