OK, first post edited to inlude ADK's great new mod:

Also included is a combined version with HG&P ricochets and .50 cal 2D smoke in case you don't have that mod. To get the most out of this mod, use with SAS Weapons Classes mod found here:

This will get even more guns working with the new tracer smoke, including the new B-25s. Just be sure to disable the class file (1FCB0C568C3E1D84) mentioned in the first post of this thread inside the SAS Weapons Classes mod folder, or you will have the wonky MG151 tracer lights back.

Known issues with HSFX/UP:
-.303 tracers do not work (with a few exceptions, e.g. Mosquito FBs), even with the Spitfire_303-Tracers mod installed.
-several other rifle-caliber MGs do not work, including USSR, some IJN (Claude and Val), IJA, Avia, Dutch Fokker, IAR80, some US.
-Russian heavy (12.7mm) MGs do not work.
-IAR80a cannon does not work.
-MG17 has tracer smoke only every other tracer.

How do I install this MOD into a clean Ultrapack 2.0 version of IL2?

Do I just drop the 00_Philip_ed_Bullets_Intermittent_Smoketrail_V1 folder into the jsgmemods folder, then select/activate it in JSGME? Will that then overwrite the 00_H&P_Effects_Uranium_Edition00_Bullets_IntermittentSmoketrail MODs.

Or...Should I completely delete the 00_Bullets_IntermittentSmoketrail Mod?

So sorry but I'm not using the SFS files format so I haven't a clue...

Could you just drop it into the JSGME folder and then move it to the right? Wink So sorry, perhaps someone else can help :-?

Well, you could try that and see. Otherwise, I think HG is using 2.0 UP so maybe he can reply Big Grin

It is so weird... because I found that video not only fullfiling 100% its purpose but also most realistic compared to actual WWII gun camera futage... :-?

Thanks for updating it with a link to my mod, Philip.ed! 8)

Perhaps a new video should be made, with AKD's mod included..
I have sent HG some new FX for WMovieMaker, so i'm wondering when he will show those off. :lol:

My mod simply extends the 2D smoke effect from HG&P .50 cal ricochet and smoke mod to other guns in the game, including MG151/20.
