Hello - and sorry your having problems - re the first part - you do not have the QMB+ mod installed so that is your problem there - If you get that installed the instructions re the conf.ini should make more sense to you. That said , you should be able to install the map anyway and access it in the FMB. What version of the game are you running? Are you sure you are using 4.09b? Cheers and I'll help in anyway I can. On first pass, your file structure looks fine.-viking
Nice map, we can make a small campaign as a civilian DC-3 pilot
This is da best, and properly the only good map to Download on AAA
Love it,
Thanks

Thanks Viking - this looks like heaps of fun.
Anyone know how to make this map work if I you have installed Ultr@Pack v1.8 ?
And what mods should be enabled in Generic Mod Enabler Application ??? :???:
Make Mount Everest! :wink:

This map had my attention for a long time already, but i thought adding maps was too difficult. Tonight i read a post on how to add maps on Ultrapack 2.0. So i did it, but got a loading error. So i switched to the Italy textures and that worked!
What can i say about this wonderful "playground"? Well done! I like the warm textures a lot and i just like low level flying and doing manoeuvres.
By the way, for me it's also the only way to visit the Grand Canyon right now... :wink:
Thanks for your work and i hope to see more of these nice maps!
A quick tip for UP and HSFX (sure it works same for both):
Make MODS folder if not already present, drop in MapMods copied from older install (and QMB Plus if so inclined,) and Viola! Quick missions with all your fav maps!
It does impact load time, but bang for the buck it's worth it IMHO.
Cheers

Ok I had a little trouble getting this map two work with Up 2.0 but viking was able to help me find a solution.
If your map is not loading here's how to fix it.
1. Download and Install map exactly how the readme says.
2. Download Neil Lowe's Darwin map. Take all the textures located here \MODS\MAPMODS\maps\_tex\NTL_\forest\summer\NTL_Darwin_Small. and put them in your ultrapack folder\MODS\Map Mods\Maps\_Tex\land\summer.
Note: if you don't want to install the Darwin Map in your game it will just create another mods/mapmods directory wherever you put it.
A simpler solution is to switch the lines in the load.ini from , but you will miss out on some of the nicer textures from the darwin map.
from this
[WOOD]
Wood0 = forest/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_Wood0.tga
Wood1 = forest/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_Wood1.tga
Wood2 = forest/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_Wood2.tga
Wood3 = forest/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_Wood3.tga
Wood4 = forest/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_Wood4.tga
To this
[WOOD]
Wood0 = Italy_DF/forest/summer/itawood0.tga
Wood1 = Italy_DF/forest/summer/itawood1.tga
Wood2 = Italy_DF/forest/summer/itawood2.tga
Wood3 = Italy_DF/forest/summer/itawood3.tga
Wood4 = Italy_DF/forest/summer/itawood4.tga
Note: Ive only tried using the darwin textures, but the 2nd fix should work just as well.
