To uninstall this map - delete the folder: mods/mapmods/maps/-tex/land/summer/vkg_Crete
and the folder: mods/mapmods/maps/vkg_Crete
and delete this line form your all.ini file: vkg_Crete vkg_Crete/load.ini
the all.ini file is a file located in mods/mapmods/maps
But before you do that - if you see it listed twice in the fmb, it is because it is listed twice in the all.ini. Delete one of the instances to solve that problem.
Now, to solve the problem of missions on your map not saving: You said you had UI1.0, and that you found 1.1, so I directed you to the 1.1.1 patch. But if you don't have 1.1 installed I'm not sure that installing 1.1.1 over 1.0 will work.
In summary:
A map won't save a mission if your game does not have objects installed (buildings, etc) that the map in question is using. The Crete map uses objects from LAL Rone's hangar mod, and blank field plates that are included in 1.1.1. Look at this thread to see how you can see what objects you have installed, and note my post towards the end of the thread -
